Writing About Planning A Party
Whether you’re throwing a birthday party, a bachelorette party, or a holiday celebration, writing about planning a party is a fun, easy way to express your passion for hosting parties. The first step is to decide where you’re going to throw the party. The club house or your own home will be the perfect setting. But there are a few important steps that you need to follow to create a perfect event.
Make a list of guests. Include family members, as well as friends. Consider allowing guests to invite friends, but keep in mind that some people may not want to invite their entire family. Once you’ve made a guest list, mail invitations two weeks prior to the party. Remember to send them out early so that everyone has ample time to plan. You may also want to consider inviting the guests of honor in advance, as this way you can ensure that the guests show up.
Select a theme. Pick a theme that will encourage people to interact with each other. A super hero party might feature people dressed as their favorite superheroes. Another fun option would be to choose an Around the World theme, in which everyone is encouraged to dress up as their favorite countries. Make sure that everyone is happy and positive, as negative people can ruin a good party. Also, take into consideration your friends’ personalities and interests.
